Iman Gandomi

M.Sc. Student, AI and VR in Medical Robotics: AMeR

Iman Gandomi was born in 2001 in Tehran, the capital of Iran. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2023. During his undergraduate years, Iman’s enthusiasm for AI led him to explore its applications in the medical field. His B.Sc. thesis, “Generating Datasets and Recognizing Important Regions in Capsulorhexis Eye Surgery with Neural Networks,” demonstrates his dedication to utilizing AI to improve medical procedures. Iman is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Electrical and Control Engineering under the guidance of Professor Taghirad at KNTU. In addition to his studies, Iman is an active member of ARAS, where he contributes to the AI and VR group.
