In recent years, there has been significant evolution in the field of robotics, particularly in the realm of science and technology. Navigating through these transformative changes has proven to be quite challenging. The realm of robotics education faces a dual challenge. On one hand, students are exposed to a multitude of materials, and their skillsets exhibit increasing diversity. On the other hand, educators must strike a delicate balance between providing in-depth analysis for a profound understanding and ensuring that the material remains manageable, facilitating the transfer of state-of-the-art skills. In this workshop, we aim to present a comprehensive curriculum tailored for robotics education at the advanced undergraduate (final year) or early graduate level, primarily designed for engineers. This curriculum retains the essential conceptual foundations necessary for describing a wide range of everyday activities, such as dexterity and redundancy. It emphasizes the effective utilization of both Matlab and Python for essential programming tasks. Furthermore, the provided curriculum can be easily modularized into two tiers. This flexibility caters to those who wish to delve into more advanced topics and those who prefer to focus solely on attaining a requisite level of proficiency. It's worth noting that, while intentionally excluding certain captivating and advanced subjects from the core curriculum, these topics remain publicly accessible to the interested audience. All the required Matlab and Python code samples are readily available to the public on GitHub. This workshop has been developed with the dual aim of benefiting both students and esteemed educators within the field of robotics. We highly value and encourage feedback from our audience, which will be instrumental in shaping future enhancements and developments in this curriculum.
